I'm 23 and my mom still wants to go on a road trip together?

In 2001 my grandfather passed away, in 2004 my dad passed away and in 2009 my grandmother passed away. Most of my family members live about 13 hours away and therefore, since most of the family here haves passed on, have no reason to visit. Instead they suggested we visit them. This had happened in the past, my dad would drive us out there when I was still a kid. Now I'm 23 and my mom wants me to go with her for easter. I offered to drive myself, but she said if she doesn't have anyone go with her, she won't go at all - she claims that she is uncomfortable driving the trip by herself as she my dad always did it. I guess I just feel slightly uncomfortable with the idea of being thrown back into this child-like situation arty 23. I'm usually the one to drive others around. I also offered to drive part of the way, but she refuses to let anyone else drive her car or to take my car. Can anyone offer advice on how to deal worth this? Am I being irrational?
