What is the name of this car tape?

Okay my friend has this cassette tape thing that plugs into your ipod so when you're driving in your car you can play the music off your ipod through your cassette thing in your car and it comes out the stereo. What is this device called? And if you know where to buy it that would be awesome as well! Thanks to anyone who answers :)
