Samsung pc studio 7 modem detect problem?

i just installed a new o.s and had to reinstall samsung pc studio 7, i have a samsung i8910 hd handset, after the program has installed, all drivers install apart from my gsm modem driver, windows cant find it even though its in the folder? When i launch connect to the internet, it says "no modem found" however it brings up a windows driver wizard saying "your unknown device needs a driver to work" i click on browse computer and go to, computer,hard drive, program files x86, samsung pc studio, and it just brings up the folders within that folder - but, the driver for my modem isnt in a folder on its own, its in the samsung pc studio x86 folder but fails to see it, if i click on, start, computer, hard drive, program files x86, samsung pc studio, theres a driver file half way down called "modem.dll" so it is there? Plus the driver wizard doesnt allow me to view all files and folders, its only folders it detects, i have tried putting the driver in a folder on my desktop, it still doesnt pick it up. Im running windows vista ultimate 64bit, it worked perfectly on my windows 7 laptop, whats going on?
