Parents dont seem to trust some of my friends especially the guys?

OK so whenever I want to hang out with my guy friends I get lecture on being safe, and my parents get all worried. Like Im 16 and when I went to see a movie with my guy friend (just as friends) my mom MADE me bring my lil brother (14) like wth? And when i went tobogganing with a group of guys I got lectured before leaving on how i should behave... Im sensible, not a whore or partier but I do like to have fun. Also my mom wont even let me walk don the back alley at night she sends my lil bro to come meat me, and he is TINY. I mean Im pretty skinny as well but I wrestle and can defend myself. But it's the same thing every time I want to hang out with a guy friend even sometimes with a girl they get all anoying I know theyre trying to protect me but im 16 and want to be able to go to a arty n hang out every once in awhile I also get the: your too tiny to d tuff sports form them sometimes its as if they think ill get hurt, do something stupid or get raped by my guy friends
