Connecting ipod to itunes?

When i tried to connect my ipod to itunes,it says iTunes need a newer version of apple mobile Device support.Please uninstall both itunes and apple mobile Device and install itunes again.I did it many times but not working.From where will i get latest version of apple mobile device?
