I'm doing a chemistry degree but I really want to do fashion or design after my degree? Can i?

I'm currently doing my chemistry degree but have had a complete change of idea and I can't bare do chemistry for the rest of my life. So I was wondering whether it was too late to move into the fashion world as a designer or just generally something creative. I want to finish my degree as it'll be good as a back up in case everything goes wrong. I'm so stuck and don't know where to start, I never did any arty subjects at a-level, spanish was the most arty! Realistically do i even have a chance?
