Will PCWorld Refund my ���?

Getting refunds from PC World is like getting blood out of a stone - forget it. They wont refund one day after purchase if they can get away with it. Have you considered that you have a virus on your laptop as a friend had similar problems where everything went haywire and no passwords or keys were accepted and it turned out to be a virus. Everything needed cleaning and reinstalling from scratch. If the laptop is under manufacturers warranty than you need to contact HP support dont even waste your time going to PC World they wont entertain you or will attempt to charge you for the recovery process. Are you sure yoy typed in all keys correctly and that a "zero" was not put in as a "0", another common problem for keys not being recognised?
