What is the difference between intermodulation and harmonics in RF?

I know that harmonics is a multiple of the undesired signals like, 2n,3n,4n,,,,, OIP3 and 2nd order intercept? Intermodulation is the result of a non linear device, like a mixer, i think.. what are the main differences because these two terms seem similar?
