Our warehouse is noisy, is there anyway to solve this?

We just moved in this two level warehouse rental - very arty, great pad, but design not so good, my partner and I sleep different hours and this place is so noisy!!! I can't shower or watch tv or anything without waking him! I don't know what to do other than move again - which is stressful and costly. :(
